Hauptanlagestelle Schloßwiese 6
You can get a day ticket for 5 euros at the Schloßwiese parking lot. The car park is 50 meters away from the Ratzeburg ship's ticket office.
Museumsufer
The last stop on the museum embankment is before the 2nd stop on the Schlosswiese. From the museum bank you have an excellent view of the island town of Ratzeburg.
Bäk
The village of Bäk, located on the east bank of the Ratzeburg Lake, with the stream of the same name, is known for the fact that around 1800 8 water mills were operated by the Bäk, in which copper was processed.
Römnitz
"The village of the funny people / village of the funny brothers", as Römnitz was called since it was founded 800 years ago, and the municipality of Römnitz had belonged to the British occupation zone since 1945.
Buchholz
The municipality of Buchholz, which is located on the west bank of the Ratzeburg Lake, has been part of the Duchy of Lauenburg since the Middle Ages.
Rothenhusen
The medieval customs station Rothenhusen was fortified in 1595 by Lübeck directly at the outflow of the Ratzeburg lake to the Wakenitz and served as a defense against attacks by the dukes of Saxony-Lauenburg.
In the pre-season (March 30, 2024 - April 30, 2024) and in the post-season (October 7, 2024 - October 31, 2024) the travel times change to:
Sat + Sun only trips from 12:40 p.m. & 2:30 p.m.
Tuesday to Friday, daily trips from 2:50 p.m. only
The regular timetable applies on all public holidays during the pre-season, high season and post-season.

How about a little marzipan?
You would like to travel from Ratzeburg to Lübeck without a break. No problem! Thanks to our cooperation with the Wakenitz Schifffahrt of the Quandt-Linie, we will be able to resume the "old" connection to the beautiful Hanseatic city of Lübeck - even up to 3 times a day, except on Mondays and Fridays. In keeping with the Barbarossa privilege of September 19, 1188, this connection is not only available to Lübeckers today.
